Playing Paintball in New Jersey?
My boyfriend has been begging to take a weekend trip to play paintball in NJ.  We've played a few times around here, but supposedly, the best paintball clubs and fields are located on the farms in central Jersey.  I don't know, I'm pretty happy with what we've found around here, and I have a rather low tolerance for getting shot at.  I'm thinking this will not be our anniversary weekend celebration!  

Anyway, I'm willing to indulge him one of these days.  He puts up with a lot for me, after all.  I decided to just break down and ask him -- what's so freaking great about New Jersey paint ball?!  He pulled up some photo galleries of camo-clad guys (and some girls, too) tromping through the woods with their realistic looking weapons, and said, "That."  It was muddy and the ground was covered in branches and weeds -- there weren't any of those inflatable looking barricades, but there was plenty of brush and nature to act as a cover for players.  It looked dirty and messy and real, the way you would expect getting chased through the woods by a sniper to feel. I guess the boyfriend expects our paintball game in central nj to be the real deal.  

He's got a point.  Around here, the fields are pretty sterile and very staged looking.  Maybe we can get some ideas to bring home with us, and start our own pb games.
